How I Use Augmented Intelligence
I sometimes use augmented intelligence tools to support aspects of my research, writing, and creating processes, including:

- Refining clarity or tone
- Supporting early-stage drafting
These tools function as thinking partners—not decision-makers. They assist the process, but they do not determine meaning.
Final judgment, interpretation, and responsibility always rest with me.
What AI Does Not Do
AI tools do not:
- Determine the substance of my arguments
- Replace original thinking or analysis
- Serve as co-authors or credited sources
- Remove my accountability for accuracy, integrity, or consequences
Technology can assist expression; it cannot own meaning.
Responsibility and Integrity
Using AI does not diminish ethical responsibility. If anything, it heightens it.
I remain responsible for:
- The accuracy of claims
- The clarity of arguments
- The faithfulness of representation
- The implications of ideas once they enter public discourse
Transparency about process matters, but responsibility for outcomes matters more.
Why I Disclose AI Use
When I disclose the use of AI tools, I do so not because authorship is compromised, but because intellectual honesty builds trust—especially in educational and scholarly contexts.

Words shape understanding. Understanding shapes action. Because meaning has consequences, it deserves care.
